"Zodiac Interactive's TVLocalSearch allows digital multichannel subscribers to find and call local businesses from their TV using a standard remote control -- all without interrupting their viewing experience. Using the TVLocalSearch application, consumers can pull up a sidebar menu along side network programming to search for local businesses, i.e., favorite local pizzeria, with no interruption to their TV viewing experience. From there, consumers can click on the TVCallME button to speak to the local business. Zodiac's TVCallME service calls the viewer first and then the business, connecting them through voice over IP (VoIP) technology."
