Game Developer to Sponsor Game Pod at NCTA GameNet Pavilion and Will Unveil Exciting New Game Technology For Digital Set-Top Box Platform

    San Francisco, April 3, 2005---Zodiac Gaming, a leading developer of advanced interactive games for digital set-top boxes, will display a variety of innovative technologies at the National Cable & Telecommunications National Show, April 3-5 in San Francisco. Zodiac will sponsor a Game Pod in the GameNet Pavilion of the show and is expected to unveil exciting new technology for the digital set-top box platform.

    The Game Pod will consist of a readily-deployable games portal with a package of games exhibiting top scores systems. The games will include multi-player versions of turn-based and action games.

    In addition to the Game Pod, Zodiac will have a booth on the floor of the GameNet pavilion where cable operators and other visitors can view an advanced game portal and a package of games integrating:

  • the OCAP and On-Ramp platforms -- the next cable industry trend;
  • advanced multi-player technology including top scores systems; and
  • a range of peripheral devices include a Gyro Mouse used for a 3D Golf Game that work with digital set top boxes.

    Additionally, Zodiac's exciting game products will be displayed on various platforms in other companies' booths, including Vidiom, Scientific-Atlanta, and ICTV.
